ACHIEVE HYDRATED AND RADIANT SKIN WITHOUT THE EFFECTS OF TRADITIONAL DERMAL FILLERS
Youthful, healthy-looking skin is the ultimate Holy Grail. We’re all chasing that envious glow and firmness our skin had in our younger years. However, as we age, our skin’s texture changes, often appearing duller and more tired than before.
That’s owed to the natural decline in collagen production, a crucial protein in our skin’s structure.
What if there was a way to turn back the clock, enhance skin texture, and reclaim your dewy, lit-from-within skin? Skinboosters™ might just be your secret weapon.
Achieve true radiance–and no one has to know how. Skinboosters are a type of dermal filler formulated to improve skin hydration, firmness, and luminosity. Victoria Park Medispa carries some of the most well-recognized brands used in the field today, including Restylane®, Vital and Vital Light, Juvéderm® SkinVive, and Revanesse® Pure
What is the difference between Skinboosters and traditional Dermal Fillers?
What distinguishes Skinboosters and traditional dermal fillers? Although both dermal fillers and Skinboosters are formulated with hyaluronic acid (HA), that’s about where the similarities end. Dermal fillers are better suited for patients who want to sculpt their face, restore lost volume, add structure, or plump their pouts.
Skinboosters, on the other hand, contain smaller amounts of HA and are injected directly into or below the surface of the skin. Skinboosters aren’t just for aging skin, either. This is the type of treatment that caters to even the twentysomething crowd looking to achieve the appearance of “glass skin.”
What can I expect during a treatment?
To give you the glow you’re vying for, your Victoria Park Medispa expert will inject the product using a small needle into the skin. The product then naturally integrates into the skin, delivering dewy, radiant results. The treatment works for areas such as the face, upper neck, and even the back of the hands.
Initially, you’ll need two to three treatments, which should be scheduled at four to six week intervals. We advise you to come in every six to eight months for follow-up treatments—more regularly if you find your skin is especially susceptible to dryness during winter.
Is there any downtime?
Injection related side effects, such as temporary swelling, bruising and pin-pricks marks can occur but this subsides quickly. Bumpiness on the skin can occur however these are temporary and resolve quickly with some gentle massage. Avoid alcohol, anti-inflammatories such as Advil, Motrin and Naprosyn, and any supplements which can thin the blood (including Vitamin E, garlic, ginseng) for 7-10 days before treatment to minimize your downtime. Drink plenty of water the day before and day of treatment to further enhance your results
